- 500g (1 lb) beef mince
- 1 slice bread, crumbled
- 1 egg
- 1 to 2 tablespoons mustard
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- In a large bowl, combine the beef, bread, egg, mustard and Worcestershire sauce and mix well. Form into 6 to 8 burgers and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Barbecue or fry in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook the burgers for 10 to 15 minutes, or until desired doneness.
